If I am understanding the technology / techniques correctly, I am guessing that Snapper encodes the barcode with a unique URL to their servers. The devices reading the barcode are directed to Snapper where they can retrieve the intended information? Their business model is contingent upon being the hub in the center of the spokes of applications and devices using and reading the 2D barcodes?
